  • Wearing vintage dress and hat, Market Publique sunglasses, and Jeffrey Campbell shoes

Yesterday I got a chance to step into the Arrojo studio downtown on Varick street and get my hair cut! Shawnee, who cut my hair, was super awesome. We talked about moving to New York City, cats, and how to get perfect beachy waves.

The last time I got my hair cut was in California, and my hair literally got butchered! Naturally, I was a little nervous this time around, but found I was actually in great hands. I’m so happy with the results from Arrojo- I couldn’t be more thrilled. You can see a major difference in the shape of my hair by comparing the two photos above: me on the street “before”, and at the salon “after”.

I wore a light, breezy dress because the weather was so warm, and paired it with a giant hat and equally giant sunglasses. However, after I left Arrojo, I ditched my hat because I couldn’t stop tossing my hair around. Silly, I know!
