Borrowed Nifty Thrifty vintage mohair sweater, Shop Wasteland skirt c/o Bollare, Verameat rings, Forever 21 shoes
Yesterday afternoon I swung by the Bollare showroom to say hello to friends and try on some pieces in their gorgeous space. One of the newer racks I was introduced to held vintage pieces from Nifty Thrifty. My eyes grew about 40 times their size when I saw this mohair sweater. (Landon and Kristen can confirm this). It’s super duper soft (read: thanks, goats) and has the perfect cropped hem.
Another piece I instantly fell in love with was the “Katie” skirt by Shop Wasteland. Though it’s hard to see in these photos (TRUST I will wear this again.. and again), if features a faux leather panel on the front, and an asymmetrical hemline in the back. Its essentially a hi-lo skirt in coolest way possible. Click here to see clearer photos from Shop Wasteland.

Last week I was invited to Bollare’s showroom and had the pleasure of being taken around the racks by Paulina. After “ooohing” and “aahing” over the leathers, silks, shoes and accesories, I tried on some fantastic pieces that Paulina and Dara had pulled and chose some of my favorites. Up above, some of my selections: printed David Kahn jeans that are so perfect for summer, and a Lucca Couture romper that’s dying to go to the beach.

Another item I was gifted was this Quicksilver Women’s button down. I wore it to go shooting with a friend who is in town from Barcelona. We hit the street in a collaboration with Spanish mag S Moda, about NY street style.
A big thank you is in order to Bollare for a very stylish afternoon at their showroom. I’m loving my new threads and can’t wait to rock them this summer.
